The Senior Sales Trainer/Coach will play a pivotal role in the on-going learning and development of all sales employees within the organization, with a dedicated audience of the LMN (Large, Mega, Not-for-Profit) Segment. Using a variety of training methods, the Senior Sales Trainer will have the responsibility of developing, planning and conducting training and certification programs for employees under the leadership of the Director of Sales Training within the Talent Development Center of Excellence.

What you will do

  • Deliver and conducts sales training programs to the organization's LMN sales trainees and personnel.
  • Analyze needs of the business and skill gaps that impact our bottom line to create action plans for training and coaching.
  • Work closely with sales management to identify performance gaps and provide simple effective training solutions and reinforcement activities
  • Design sales training programs and materials based on adult learning principles through a variety of methods including remote and face to face instructor led training
  • Certify readiness through assessment-based coaching (live role play, video and audio coaching, etc.)
  • Facilitate interactive training and coaching exercises
  • Prepare wide range of associates for client interactions: sales finals, business changes, required delivery of reviews (both internally and externally) through coaching and training.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to create training and coaching plans based on the ever-changing needs of the business.
  • Responsible for working with product teams to learn about upcoming product launches and updates
  • Support the execution, maintenance, and on-going improvement of new hire on-boarding and certification programs
  • Solicit feedback from participants and implement improvements in accordance with feedback from Director of Sales Training and other key partners.
  • Work with Sales and Customer Experience leadership to identify training needs and manage the creation and execution of new training programs across the organization.
  • Act as a liaison between various departments and build relationships with SMEs within the organization What you will bring
    • BS/BA Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, if no degree, then 8+ years of relevant experience
    • 2+ years coaching experience
    • Relevant experience includes delivering training to sales people and market-facing roles
    • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills required to assist the delivery of training to large audiences
    • Experience in the 401K industry
    • Strong executive presence
    • Ability to manage personalities, and employ influencing and coaching techniques with stakeholders and business partners
    • Ability to prioritize and manage training and coaching calendar with changing timelines
    • Experience using tools such as Allego and/or Adobe
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to travel as required by business needs - up to 30% at times.

          Base Salary Range

          $86,400.00 - $122,100.00
          The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
