immediate opportunity for a Packaging Production Lead Engineer to
join our mission. The ideal candidate will be part of the Product
Protection Engineering team within the Lockheed Martin (LM) Space
Production Operations organization. This role will lead the
packaging production and manufacturing environment, supporting all
Lockheed Martin Space program critical hardware.Benefits of

leading production reviews and engineering approvals for
manufacture Ability to understand, interpret, apply, and validate
engineering, product-specific, and/or industry standards Knowledge
and application of ASME Y14.5 and Y14.100 drafting standards and
practices Experience with EPDM (Windchill) and configuration
management Ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in partnership
with cross-functional leads Strong knowledge within SAP production
management systems Ability to drive production improvements through
identification of process inefficiencies, weaknesses and/or gaps
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent proven
experience with lean manufacturing Ability to develop Standard
Operating Procedures and Processes (SOPs) Ability to work with
outside vendors and suppliers to meet production demandsDesired
Skills: Experience with Tableau Experience with eWhiteboard, Jira,
and/or SharePoint Experience with VE-CAMS Experience with Creo
Parametric, Creo Illustrate, and Creo View Experience with
Inventory Management, Material Forecasting, and Inventory
Automation Experience with industry packaging standards (ASTM
D6251, ASTM D6256, ASTM D6880, ASTM D7478, MIL-STD-2073, etc.)
Experience in Manufacturing Work Instruction or PHST Work
Instruction development Experience with quality assurance and
inspectionSecurity Clearance Statement: May require security

employee selected for this position will work part of their work
schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be
discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin
supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our

annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or
Washington is $78,500 - $150,400. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending

Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of
Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month;
accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96
hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start
date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan
