Overview:
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Technician for an opportunity in Littleton, CO -Job Duties and Responsibilities: - - Essential Functions: -Working from engineering drawings, written work instructions and process specifications, employee will assemble structural and precision mechanical components in a shop environment. Tasks will include but are not limited to:-Installation and torquing of fasteners, drilling, installation of rivets, adhesive bonding, measurement and shimming interfaces to close tolerances-Aerospace paint, aerospace primer and other aerospace coating application using spray, brush, swab techniques.-Surface prep, using grit blast, hand abrade and power abrasion techniques-Pre-prep and wet layup fabrication techniques, including vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing-Tooling fabrication from various materials such as aluminum, composites, and wood-Working with small shop power tools (saws, routers, sanders, and grinders)-Machine shop equipment operation (mill, lathe, table saw, band saw, etc.)-Assembly of composite structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applications-Operation of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, micrometers, and torque wrenches -All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status. -Why Choose LAUNCH?A team of aviation staffing experts leads LAUNCH.
