We are seeking a to perform an assortment of tasks in the Denver Dynamics Group supporting the assembly and test of a wide variety of subsystem and system level spacecraft hardware. You will perform mechanical integration of flight hardware to ground test equipment and monitor dynamic (vibration, shock, acoustic, modal) testing activities. This includes the creation of unique test solutions and troubleshooting hardware issues. You will be responsible for flight hardware handling, test setup, instrumentation, fixture fabrication, and ground support equipment maintenance and repair. Summary of Key Duties for this Position: * Perform hands-on test setup, operations, and tear-down of dynamic testing including acoustic, modal, shock, and vibration testing of developmental and flight spacecraft hardware * Fabricate and assemble unique test solutions including fixture creation/modification and instrumentation configuration/installation * Maintain and repair laboratory ground processing equipment including shaker systems and acoustic chambers * Interface with engineering and program customers to ensure successful test execution * Support a flexible work schedule with varying shifts, after hours support, and weekends when needed * Perform occasional laboratory administrative tasks including shipping support and equipment tracking/calibration * Independently perform routine, non-routine, and moderately complex assignments Benefits of Employment: Lockheed Martin Space offers a total compensation package from competitive wages, on-site medical care and healthy living incentives!
