The Senior Analyst, Government Operations is responsible for
ensuring compliance filings to the Federal Communication Commission
(FCC) and State Public Utility Commissions (PUC) are accurate and
timely. This role manages mapping, GIS data, and other data
resources needed to ensure the completion of State and Federal
filings. As well as, provide spatial analysis in the support of
company initiatives. The role will also create and maintain a
portal of mapping resources for internal use. Interaction with
industry peers and public officials may be required.
Participate in the development and production of compliance
Develop maps that effectively visualizes, as well as, tracks the
impact of policies/programs created by the FCC or State PUC.
Develop processes to automate the aggregation and creation of
mapping datasets from various internal and external data
Update and maintain spatial data used as input to models used
within the team.
Work regularly with multiple interdepartmental teams, including but
not limited to Public Policy, Legal, Network, Marketing, Product
and Customer Care organizations to prioritize initiatives impacting
Write and maintain the methods and procedures necessary to support
Automate report production and distribution where possible.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
Experience using GIS tools such as ArcGIS, Alteryx or similar
Prefer experience with Python or similar scripting languages
Ability to analyze, manipulate and understand large data sets
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Internally driven, able to work without significant oversight and
able to lead projects from start to finish
Creative problem-solver, risk-taker
Motivated to identify and develop solutions
Bachelors or Equivalent in Information Systems
