Our teams operate at the intersection of wireless, data analytics, AI and the cloud to create something state-of-the-art, radically original and truly unlike what anyone else can.Job Duties and Responsibilities What you will be doing Primary responsibilities: Work in agile teams to deliver data-driven continuous improvements of our cloud network and related ecosystem Define and run experiments, in a wide variety of technical areas, to test our cloud network and related ecosystem Analyze data to discover opportunities and quantify improvements in performance and quality of our cloud network and related ecosystem Deliver business performance/capability Improvements, by executing projects from initial data exploration through proof of concept, refinement, automation and delivery of as a Service (aaS) solution In this role you will: Embrace ''cloud native'' principles and help implement Everything as Code Take initiative to discover opportunities for continuous improvement Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleansing, and apply statistical and AI/ML methods to a wide variety of data types Document Proof of Concepts, results and best practices Present demos of your work with executives and colleagues on a regular basis, as well as review and provide feedback on peer demos Learn from subject matter experts and contribute to the discovery and implementation of a first-of-its-kind cloud network and related ecosystem Work with teams of network engineers, build / site reliability engineers, data scientists, and program managers both internally and across the ecosystem Work in a DevOps manner: continuously learn, question, experiment, and analyze results in a high velocity team Think critically: applying common sense, creativity, and technical expertise to challenging problems to develop new systems rather than settle for ''the way it''s always been done'' Deliver as Code and as a Service solutions to enable further automation and AI/ML driven improvements Work across an ecosystem of cloud providers, independent software vendors, developers and enterprise channels. Skills, Experience and RequirementsSpecific qualifications:A successful MSS will have the following at a minimum: Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other STEM-related field Proven ability to quickly learn new concepts, processes, and software and proven ability to deliver quantifiable results with minimal supervision Proficiency in coding using one or more of the following: such as Python, Go, R, or equivalent languages Experience with data visualization tools: such as Grafana, ELK, Tableau, AWS Quicksight Strong communication/presentation skills and confidence to work with internal and external partners Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others to clarify requirements, quickly identify problems, and collaboratively find creative solutions Willing to get hands dirty and dive deep into technical details whenever necessary Problem solving: ability to analyze and resolve complex issues regardless of prior expertise The following additional qualifications are a plus: Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field 2+ years of experience in an advanced technology industry and data-driven environment Strong software engineering fundamentals including writing high performance code, testing and debugging Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and a container-based software environment Experience using ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) and using SQL-based and non-SQL-based technologies: such as AWS Athena, BigQuery, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Impala, etc Experience with foundational AWS services: such as EC2, S3, EMR, EKS, Cloudwatch, Redshift, etc Experience using common data science techniques such as data mining, time series data analysis, multivariate analysis, clustering, regression - logistical and linear, and pattern recognition Experience with ML tools such as Tensorflow and Scikit-learn Familiarity with agile methodologies, scrum, kanban, etc Industry certifications on DevOps, Cloud Platforms, Kubernetes Knowledge of Defect Management Systems such as Jira or GitHub Salary RangeCompensation: $64,150.00/Year - $94,000.00/Year BenefitsFrom versatile health perks to new career opportunities, check out our benefits on our careers website .Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test.
