With doctors, nurses, specialists, labs and medical records all interlinked and coordinated, patient care has never been in better hands.The Practice Administrator oversee the business functions of all locations for the OBGYN division including financial management, personnel management, practice development and recruitment, strategic alliances, quality assurance, and utilization. Direct reporting to Physician Lead and dotted line reporting to CEO.Essential Job Functions:The following statements are illustrative of the essential duties of the job and do not include other nonessential or peripheral duties that may be required.   • Oversees the business and financial affairs of the OBGYN division and responsible for fiscal management in conjunction with corporate departments.
  • Facilitates the recruitment of and supervises the management team.
  • Oversees recruitment of all open positions within the division.
  • Manages employee relations in partnership with the managers and supervisors, including progressive discipline and terminations.
  • Oversees development and implementation of a patient satisfaction processes.
  • Acts as liaison between the Centers and the corporate office.
  • Oversees the efficiency of billing, receivables, and reimbursement.
  • In conjunction with corporate support, develops and maintains new physician orientation program.
  • In conjunction with human resources coordinates all recruitment activities for Providers.
  • Positions the practice within the community as an outstanding organization, and continually courts potential clients.
  • Communicates company decisions, needs, and goals to management team and staff.
  • Functions as liaison between physicians and management team.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice.Qualifications and Experience Minimum Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
    • Minimum two years managing a multiple provider specialty office.
    • Strong organizational leadership ability; capable of coordinating the interests of physicians toward the larger objective.
    • Experience managing and maximizing the profitability of a medical practice.
    • Ability to communicate effectively among multiple organizational levels.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate effectively with providers, payors, and employer groups at multiple levels. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises Practice Manager and indirectly supervises MA and Front Office Supervisor. Supervision of other staff members when supervisors not available.Job Elements and Working Conditions
