This operation prepares the "sandwich"-- - which consists of the printed front and back sheets with the front and back overlay material that covers the front and back sheets. This operation provides the lamination process / department with a product for further processing.Responsibilities:Collation Operator Level IReads and interprets the shop floor router and workmanship manual as well as applicable specifications.Understands the location and function of all emergency stops on the machine.Sets up Collation Machine to correct position using correct sheets, overlay, magnetic stripe, and inlays (if applicable).Performs a First Article Inspection and obtains third party verification.Maintains registration of overlay relative to magnetic stripe and sheet positions throughout the run.Ensures fronts and backs to each job match (no mixing of jobs).Hand tack sheets when applicable.Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.Logs time and materials properly in the Monarch Shop Floor system.Ensures the job is balanced in blind audit system, rectifying any discrepancies prior to releasing the batch to the next process.Collation Operator Level II (Completes all Collation Operator Level I responsibilities plus):Set up and run RFID (3 part construction) work.Hand-tack multiple layers work.Able to perform minor repairs on the machine.Collation Operator Level III (Completes all Collation Operator Level II responsibilities plus):Set up and run ID work, utilizing clean room practices.Troubleshoot advanced issues with machine and perform advanced maintenance.(The following apply to all regardless of their level status):Adhere to all CPI security requirements including counting and documenting the disposition of all cards to and from the operation (Audit Trail Procedure, Count Information, and Destruction forms).Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Quality Management System Program.Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Safety Program.Adhere to all requirements of the CPI Workmanship Manual.Willing to cross trained on other processes.Must be able to work flexible hours upon requestedPay: $18.25 an hour, plus a 15% shift diffSchedule: Fri-Sun 4:00am-4:00pm-training is on 1st shift for 3-4 weeksQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
