Clinical Informatics Nurse
This is a full-time, exempt/salaried Clinical Informatics Nurse
position. This will have a focus on ambulatory, working within our
multi-disciplinary IT sprint teams. Those teams work together on
optimization of workflows, process improvement, gaps in training,
and in the use of Epic in all clinics across UCHealth. This
specific person will work on teams mostly focused within the Denver
area; however, you may be required to go to any of the clinics or
hospitals within our system or affiliate partners depending on
• Assists with the planning, design, and support of assigned
• Tests and troubleshoots existing and proposed assigned
• Provides guidance to other analysts on the build of the assigned
• Provides analysis of the usage and return-on-investment of
installed and proposed assigned system(s).
• Uses the analysis output to recommend scope for projects,
optimization, and upgrades for assigned system(s).
• Provides training, support and troubleshooting to end users.
Documents end-user issues, designs solutions for, and recommends
steps to prevent recurrences to other analysts.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
• Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
• 3 years of ambulatory/clinical nursing with experience working
with and/or supporting Epic EMR systems
• Master's Degree in Nursing Informatics
• Proven process improvement/change management skills
• Epic Super User or Epic Analyst experience
• Epic Certification
• ANCC Board Certification in Nursing Informatics
The pay range for this position is: $34.62 - $51.93 /
hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant
