Job Description:

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) has an immediate opening for a full-time Intake Specialist. this position works under the direction of the Intake Manager to carry out tasks related to the intake and processing of any one or combination of the following submissions to the BACB Ethics Department: Notices, self-reports, affidavits, or from other internal Departments. The Intake Specialist is a detail-oriented individual who can review complex fact patterns, implement processes with a high degree of accuracy within strict timelines, and effectively communicate with co-workers and consumers. This person is also flexible, collaborative, and able to adapt to the changing needs of the Ethics Department and the organization.The BACB is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1998 to meet professional credentialing needs identified by behavior analysts, governments, and consumers of behavior analysis services. We are located in Littleton, CO with beautiful views of the adjacent mountains.We offer excellent benefits including: Medical, vision, and dental insurance paid 100% by employer for employee and family $500 annual FSA contribution by employer On-site fitness center Employer-funded 401(k) contributions Tuition reimbursement available Student loan paydown plan available 18 days of Paid Time Off in first year of employment plus 11 paid holidays Reimbursement for relevant professional development eventsRequirementsIntake and process submissions: review submissions, prepare and manage confidential case files, conducting internal and external searches, write case summaries, communicate with relevant individuals, present cases in collaborative review meetings, manage on-going casesEnter and maintain case dataInteract with and maintain certificant recordsCollaborate with other staff in the Ethics Department and in other BACB DepartmentsSupport the Ethics Manager in completing various projects (audits, reviewing and creating systems and products), including collaborating with team members to meet goals and deadlinesUphold the mission of the BACB and the Ethics Department to protect consumers by clearly communicating ethics requirements, disseminating resources, and providing mechanisms to address potential ethics violationsCompetenciesService and detail-orientedProfessional, unbiased, sound judgement, and focus on maintaining confidentialityStrategic and critical thinking and problem solving skillsFocused and organized with the ability to manage time intensive projectsAdaptable to system changes and new ideasStrong interpersonal and collaboration skillsExcellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with diverse audiencesBusiness AcumenTechnical CapacityAbility to compile, analyze, and visually depict dataEducation and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 2 years working in a business support role required. NCIT certification required within first year.Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree required along with 2+ years of work experience in a case management role required.Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilitiesWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
