Job Description:

*This position requires Full United States Citizenship and an Active Secret Security Clearance. * This is NOT a remote position. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES: This position is in support of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program and Lockheed Martin's Strategic & Missile Defense Systems Division. The ideal candidate will: Have experience with Real Time Operating System (Greenhills or VxWorks); Code base GreenHills RTOS, C++, and python. Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities. Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensure software standards are met. EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science or higher in Software Engineering or related field from an accredited school. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: BS+5/MS+3 SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS: Basic Qualifications: Full United States Citizenship is required. A ctive Secret Clearance is required. Previous embedded software development experience Previous C++ or Python experience Linux development Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent team orientation Desired Skills: Experience testing Flight Software Agile processes Ability to work with multiple programming languages and operating systems Understanding of missile or satellite software systems SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Secret Clearance Positions with All Points are Full-Time, Direct, and we offer a full benefit package.
