Join a talented team of Orion engineers engaged in the design and fabrication of the only deep space, human\-rated spacecraft that will take humans farther than we have ever gone before\. http://www\.lockheedmartin\.com/orionThis opening is for a Continuous Integration \(CI\) Engineer on the Mainline Integration and Verification \(MIV\) team for the NASA Orion Vehicle Program supporting Orion Avionics Products and Software \(APS\) Integrated Product Team \(IPT\)\.The CI team facilitates the movement of developer's code up to a stable branch from their allocated stream with as much automation as possible\. They are core to the DevOps pipeline\. The CI team manages the suite of regression tests that code is subjected to in the process promotion process from streams to a stable branch and engineering product\. The CI team manages the development pipeline continuous integration toolset, including maintaining custom scripts that interface with the automated builder and automated regression testing, fixes breaks in the promotion processes, and works heavily in Jenkins and version control tools\. This process also includes running end to end mission tests and developing checkpoints for integration test users as well\. The core responsibility of the CI team is to ensure that all newly developed code gets integrated into a usable, stable product, for the rest of the program, and is therefore critical to mission success\.Being a self\-driven problem\-solver is a must\. Familiarity with the software development cycle, good coding standards, real time embedded programming, and model driven development is a plus\. Background in Agile methodologies is desired\.Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to details required to delivery flight ready products, and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment\.
