That support comes through in our work, as we are united by our mission of creating opportunities for people where they live, learn, and work.As an IT Scrum Master - Identity Systems, you're the servant leader for our team, facilitating, guiding, and coaching the team to accomplish work on an iterative basis in either Scrum or Kanban. You'll coach the team so Agile principles are being followed and will collaborate with the Program Manager and other leadership on a consistent basis to be in alignment with vision, goals, and ensure there is a common understanding for each scrum team. You'll be enabling the team to improve efficiency, quality, and predictability on an iterative basis and will empower the team to deliver as much value to the business customer as possible.The Scrum Master is responsible for making sure a Scrum team lives by the values and practices of Scrum. The Scrum Master is often considered a coach for the team, helping the team understand Agile Scrum and practice it efficiently. The Scrum Master can also be thought of as a process coach for the team. A Scrum Master's main deliverable is a self-organizing team delivering the features and services of the Identity Systems program.Job Responsibilities+ Guiding and coaching the team to turn requirements into working deliverables on an iterative basis that adds value to the customer.+ Ensuring the successful and on-time delivery of project deliverables.+ Monitoring and tracking the progress of internal and external resources towards project goals+ Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to meet or exceed the customer's expectations+ Guiding the team to be self-organized+ Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization+ Removing impediments, or guiding the team to remove impediments, by finding the right personnel to remove obstacles.+ Nurturing a safe team environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.+ Leading and guiding the team to achieve better quality, predictability, and value in getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.+ Facilitating daily team ceremonies and cultivating a strong team culture of accountability and support.+ Facilitating team discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution+ Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and providing information radiators reporting progress.+ Coaching the team and stakeholders to ensure the product backlog is groomed to satisfy the team agreements.+ Employing servant leadership principles, a Scrum Master mentors the team and leads by example.Colorado Residents: Pay range for this role is $70k-$125kEducation+ Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.+ Agile certifications, such as CSM, PMI-ACP or PSM, preferred.Experience and Competencies+ Experience guiding teams of developers, analysts, architects, and engineers preferably in a matrix organization.+ Ability to guide projects from inception to successful implementation+ Demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions to successfully resolve diverse and complex business problems.+ Strong analytical, communications, technical teamwork, and interpersonal skills.+ Previous experience as a team lead in any capacity.+ Excellent communication and mentoring skills+ Working knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.+ Knowledge and understanding of industry-standard patterns and techniques for practicing the Agile Scrum process.+ Knowledge of other process approaches: Kanban, Waterfall, and Lean+ Knowledge and experience with Identity Systems: Ping Identity, SailPoint IdentityIQ, Thycotic Secret Server (strongly desired)Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, HSA and FSA, generous earned time off, 401K/student loan repayment, life insurance & AD insurance, employee assistance program, employee stock purchase program, tuition reimbursement, performance-based incentive pay, short- and long-term disability, and a robust wellness program.
