Description: The Lockheed Martin Space Human Resources team
provides strategic human capital support that aligns with the key
priorities of the business.The HRBP will be an integral champion of
Lockheed Martin's culture and values; partnering with our business
leaders on strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will
consult with leadership, employees, and cross-functional groups to
solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of
the client's leadership team.The successful HR Business Partner
candidate will excel at partnering closely with other HRBPs to
ensure the functional strategy is supported across the line of
business.Duties include but are not limited to:- Ensuring the
successful execution of all HR initiatives- Providing HR support in
the areas of development & coaching, performance management,
workplace investigations, developing and implementing talent
assessment and development programs, and driving selection and
retention strategies- Influencing management decisions- Delivering
pro-active advice and counsel to leaders, while maintaining
integrity with HR policy and practice and seeking creative
solutions to problems- Identifying and addressing employee
relations issues promptlyThis is a hands-on role, requiring skills
in both tactical and strategic Human Resources. Success in the
position requires a track record of excellent judgment, strategic
thinking, influencing skills, and results orientation. Critical to
this role are: the capability to gain the trust and respect of
executive leadership and employees while pursuing positive
organizational goals and objectives, and the ability to effectively
engage and collaborate with both HR business partners and Center of
Excellence (COE) staff at multiple sites.Basic Qualifications:- BS
and 4+ years of relevant experience- Ability to engage others
through appropriate use of facts, convincing examples, and direct
persuasion- Knowledge and understanding of various ways to build
buy-in and support- Ability to identify suitable alternatives for
problems and situations and organize thoughts, issues or activities
into logical sequence-Ability to compile data and information
meticulously and looks for trends-Ability to translate data into
meaningful insights-Understands the analytical interpretation of
data and how it impacts processes and procedures- Ability to
analyze data presented via various formats to identify human
capital issues and how they may impact the business-Awareness on
how organizational cultures influence delivering results-Overall
track record of success as demonstrated by strong performance in
prior related assignments-Ability to travel as needed in support of
client requirementsDesired Skills:-Experience in developing and
executing strategy to drive organization design in order to deliver
strategic business objectives. Then assesses the information
technology, processes, measurements, training and leadership
activities needed to successfully implement and sustain the
organizational structure.- Ability to identify client needs, build
solutions that are aligned to clients needs and based on industry
best practices, and negotiate with client to set realistic
expectations for goals and scope within clients timeline.- Ability
to translate ideas and suggestions for change into change
initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement change
plans. Develop detailed change management and risk mitigation plans
and establish ownership and accountability for implementation of
plans.- Considers the impact of HR decisions on other functions in
the organization. Works with stakeholders within and outside of the
HR function to manage complex issues.- Creates human capital
strategies to develop core talent and capability needs to meet
strategic objectives of the business. Champions a future-focused
workforce plan.- Understands the culture required to deliver the
business strategy. Measures the impact of culture initiatives on
performance, engagement, and creating a diverse and inclusive work
environment. Actively coaches leaders and employees about the
experiences they create and impact on culture and business
results.-Ability to operate with a high degree of integrity,
urgency and confidentiality in challenging situations.-Excellent
computer skills, experienced in MS office tools, specifically
PowerPoint, Word, ExcelBASIC
