From casual comforting cuisine to world class upscale Alpine inspired dining, The Arrabelle at Vail Square offers a variety of dining options to please every palate. Job Specifications: Outlet: The Arrabelle Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.23 / hour Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round Skill Level: Intermediate Essential Job Functions: Work with and assist the Pastry Chef in preparing pastry items, including pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, mousses, custards, simple syrups, and jams, following established recipes and customer service standards. Assist in producing desserts for special events, banquets, and amenities, including wedding cakes and creative pastry displays. Communicate effectively with the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef regarding menu items and other issues in the kitchen. Follow established recipes and plating guides. Professionally conduct themselves at all times to reflect the high standards of Vail Resorts. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. -required 2-3 years culinary experience - preferred Pastry experience. -preferred Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. -required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -required Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required Ability to read and effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to managers and employees. -required Must be able to work weekends and holidays. -required The expected pay range is $20.00 - $23.23.
