General Summary of Job DutiesThe position is responsible for performing various levels of slot machine repair, correctly setup and troubleshoot slot machine devices as well as associated gaming devices within the casino.Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement.Correctly perform machine key chip setup functions of slot equipment/devices.Troubleshoot using diagnostic table/equipment to board level of all slot devices.Perform preventive maintenance of slot equipment/machines and system: keeping operational.Assist in Customer/Gaming/Audit discrepancies as needed.Basic understanding of electronics.Thorough understanding of ICMP, Colorado Rules and Regulations and internal policies as pertaining to Slots, machine moves, conversions, progressives, installs and upgrades.Ability to perform Jackpots and fills as needed.Assist CDOG with gaming disputes, thefts and compliance issues.Capable of performing machine variance investigations.Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following; Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting.Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.Maintain an open line of communication with Management.Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guest, fellow Employees, and Vendors.Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.Regular attendance and arriving on time to all scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.Other duties as assigned. Skills, Education and Other Requirements Must be fluent in EnglishAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, gaming documents and troubleshooting manuals.Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal.Ability to work well with others and under stressful conditions.Must possess a valid Colorado Gaming License.High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience.2 years supervisor experience in slot dept.Prior slot technician experience.$17.50-$20.50 Depends on Experience, plus tips!
