A specialized opportunity is available for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with significant experience in spine and joint procedures. This contract position supports a dedicated Surgical Unit in a modern healthcare setting focused on spine fusions, ALIFs, and total joint replacements. This role is ideal for professionals ready to contribute to a team known for its expertise and use of advanced orthopedic technology. Location:Situated in a prominent medical campus near Littleton, CO, the facility houses three operating rooms tailored for spine and joint surgeries and a dedicated Hip Preservation Center. The setting offers a supportive environment with approximately 60 staff members, including experienced RNs and unit secretaries, facilitating efficient and high-quality patient care. Schedule/Hours: Day shifts, typically Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM Call availability on weekends; night call between 5 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday, with no overnight requirements Flexibility for 10 or 12-hour shifts with ASAP start dates are considered Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment for complex spine and joint surgical procedures Support surgical teams in Spine Fusions, ALIFs, and Total Joint Replacement cases Maintain sterile field and ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Qualifications & Experience: Must have certified Surgical Technologist credentials (CST) Demonstrated experience in Spine and Joint scrub roles is required General surgery experience preferred but not mandatory Flexibility and willingness to participate in call schedules Benefits and Perks:Contract employment offers the chance to work with seasoned professionals in a technologically advanced unit.
