Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN
specializing in Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit (STICU) to join
our team. This role involves providing critical care to patients
with life-threatening injuries or severe illnesses, ensuring their
stabilization and recovery. The selected candidate will be part of
a dynamic healthcare team at UCHealth, renowned for excellence in
patient care across Colorado. This traveling position requires
adaptability and the ability to deliver high-quality care in
different settings. Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for
critically ill patients. Monitor patient conditions constantly and
adjust treatment plans as necessary. Operate high-precision medical
equipment and administer medications. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records. Educate patients and families on post-hospital
care requirements. High proficiency in critical care nursing
practices and principles. Ability to operate complex medical
machinery. Advanced expertise in emergency response and patient
monitoring. Strong communication skills for interacting with
patients, families, and healthcare teams. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. Certification in
Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred.
