Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in patient-focused healthcare in Colorado, is
seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist Traveler specialized in
Endovascular procedures. As part of our esteemed team, this role
involves supporting our network of hospitals and outpatient
facilities by providing exceptional care and specialized technical
assistance during complex endovascular surgeries. This position
requires travel among our facilities in Colorado, necessitating
flexibility and a strong commitment to patient safety and team
collaboration. Prepare and maintain sterile and non-sterile
supplies and equipment needed for endovascular procedures. Assist
surgical teams in scrub roles during endovascular interventions.
Handle and process specimens taken during surgical procedures
according to facility protocols. Ensure all equipment is
functioning properly before surgeries. Assist in patient
positioning, prepping, and obtaining necessary imaging during
procedures. Travel between multiple UCHealth facilities as needed
to support surgical teams. Provide pre- and post-surgical care and
instruction to patients under the supervision of registered nurses
or other medical staff. Maintain accurate and detailed
documentation of all surgical interventions. Proficient in sterile
techniques and infection control protocols. Ability to operate and
maintain endovascular equipment. Excellent organizational and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure
environments. Skill in multi-tasking and managing time effectively.
Strong collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary medical teams.

Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification.
