Job Description:
As part of UCHealth's commitment to providing exemplary patient
care, we are seeking a dedicated Traveling Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our Labor & Delivery unit. Located in the picturesque state of
Colorado, UCHealth prioritizes a patient-centered approach in
multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities. This position
requires working night shifts, providing critical support during
one of the most significant times in our patients' lives. You will
be part of a team that values compassion, excellence, and
reliability in the delivery of healthcare services. Assess, plan,
and implement nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns.
Monitor fetal health during labor and delivery and take appropriate
action in emergencies. Administer medications, manage pain, and
assist in inductions and other procedures. Work collaboratively
with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare
professionals. Educate and support mothers, families, and
caregivers before, during, and after delivery. Document patient
care services by charting in patient and department records.
Proficiency in fetal monitoring Strong decision-making and
problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
BLS/CPR certification ACLS certificaiton NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) certification
