UCHealth, a respected leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery Metro Denver Float Pool for night shifts. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work across various UCHealth facilities, offering a unique platform to gain diverse experience and impact the lives of patients in various settings. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to providing the highest level of care in a dynamic environment. Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in different L&D settings within the UCHealth system. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Administer medications and monitor vital signs during labor and postpartum periods. Educate and support mothers and families on neonatal care and birthing options. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety standards. Participate in continuous education to improve patient outcomes and personal competencies. Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery nursing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Adaptability to varying work environments within the float pool system Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification required ACLS certification desirable NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is an advantage
