Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading health care system based in Colorado, seeks
a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and
Delivery (L&D) float pool in the Denver/Metro area. This
position involves supporting multiple hospitals within our network,
providing flexibility and the opportunity to work with a diverse
patient population. As a vital member of our team, the selected
nurse will ensure the delivery of exceptional care tailored to the
individual needs of our patients, maintaining UCHealth's commitment
to excellence and patient-centered care. Provide comprehensive
nursing care in the L&D setting across different facilities.
Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in collaboration
with healthcare teams. Monitor patient vitals and progress; adjust
care plans as necessary. Educate and support patients and their
families throughout the birthing process. Ensure the safety and
well-being of patients and newborns at all times. Participate in
multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Document
patient care services by charting in patient and department
records. Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexibly
across multiple locations. Proficiency in electronic medical record
(EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Colorado. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred. NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) certification required.
