As a part of our dedicated team, the RN Acute Care Neurosciences will focus on providing top-tier patient-centered care in our dynamic neuroscience unit. This role requires a compassionate individual who is skilled in acute neurological conditions and can thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The candidate will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to patients with acute neurological disorders, ensuring their safety, recovery, and well-being. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and monitor side effects or reactions. Provide direct care and support to patients with neurological disorders, such as strokes, brain injuries, and other acute conditions. Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care measures. Monitor patient recovery and adapt plans of care in conjunction with doctors and other healthcare professionals. Document patient status and the care provided. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations. Advanced knowledge of neurological disorders and care Proficiency in using medical software for patient care documentation Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
