Job Description:
UCHealth invites applications for the position of RN Acute Care
Transplant / Thoracic, where advanced medical procedures and

critical care to patients who are in post-operative stages of
thoracic and transplant surgery, aiding in their recovery process
and ensuring high standards of healthcare delivery. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for transplant and
thoracic surgery patients. Monitor patient vital signs, detect
deviations from norm, and assess urgent interventions. Educate
patients and their families about the procedure, care post-surgery,
and necessary lifestyle adjustments. Coordinate with healthcare
professionals to ensure the efficacy of the treatment plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and
ethical practice standards are upheld. Administer medications as
prescribed and monitor for any side effects or reactions. Strong
critical thinking and problem-solving skills. High level of
personal integrity and professionalism. Proficient in using medical
software for patient care management. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification
preferred.
