Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered
Nurse (RN) for our Burn Trauma Center. This role requires a
compassionate professional who can deliver exceptional care in a
fast-paced, high-intensity environment specifically tailored
towards the treatment of burn trauma patients. As part of our
dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work across
UCHealth’s various hospitals and outpatient facilities, offering a
chance for diverse professional experiences and growth in a
supportive environment. Provide direct and individualized nursing
care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing
principles. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
in collaboration with the healthcare team. Offer support and
education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans
and recovery. Administer medications, manage pain, and other
personalized interventions. Record patients' medical information
and vital signs, update and maintain accurate patient records.
Adjust care plans as needed in response to patient status changes.
Strong clinical skills in a high acuity burn trauma care setting.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to
perform under stress in emergencies. Effective communication skills
for interacting with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary
team. Proficiency with healthcare software and electronic health
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Certification in Burn
Nursing (CNB) is highly desirable.
