We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely under the supervision of certified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement therapeutic programs and monitor progress within a supportive school environment. This role is crucial in helping students improve their communication skills, which is essential for their academic and personal success. Assist SLPs in the assessment and evaluation of students' speech, language, and communication disorders. Implement speech therapy plans and interventions prescribed by the supervising SLP. Monitor and report on student progress and participate in meetings to discuss student development. Prepare materials and set up equipment necessary for daily speech sessions. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and comply with all legal and ethical standards. Proficiency in using therapeutic equipment and software used in speech therapy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Understanding of speech-related disorders and treatment options.
