Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room Float Pool. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work across various surgical departments within our hospitals and outpatient facilities, providing high-quality patient care and supporting a range of surgical procedures. This position allows you to leverage your expertise in perioperative nursing to enhance patient outcomes and maintain the highest standards of safety in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse range of surgical procedures. Assist in the preparation, operation, and recovery processes of the operating room. Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical staff to ensure effective patient care delivery. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification preferred
