Job Description:
Join UCHealth, a renowned Colorado-based, nonprofit health
system, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Labor and Delivery
(L&D) Birth Center. This night shift role is crucial in
providing expert care during one of the most significant moments in
our patients' lives. Our Birth Center is equipped with
state-of-the-art medical facilities and a supportive environment
designed to deliver a patient-centered care approach. As part of
our team, you will work in a dynamic setting with leading
professionals, contributing to our mission of improving lives and
fostering healthier communities across Colorado. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms
or changes in patients' conditions. Maintain accurate, detailed
reports and records. Interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to
identify and assess patient's condition. Assist in the delivery and
management of mother and baby post-delivery ensuring the health and
safety of both. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to
improve care and patient outcomes. Educate and support mothers,
family members, and caregivers. Strong clinical skills in labor and
delivery and postpartum care. Excellent decision-making and
problem-solving skills. Proficient in using healthcare software and
systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
BLS/CPR certification mandated. ACLS and NRP certifications
preferred but not required.
