Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Pueblo, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years specialty experience License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience with inpatient, Phase I PACU - Familiarity with the charting system Epic Description: We are seeking a registered nurse to work in the PACU. The position requires a commitment to three night shifts per week, specifically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. First-time travelers are accepted as long as experience requirements are met. Weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs. This position involves managing patients with multiple co-morbidities, including those needing cardiovascular and cardiac services, as well as brain and spine care. The facility operates a separate catheterization lab. Skills required include arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition and management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Narcotic and opioid analgesic experience is necessary, along with familiarity with reversal agents and monitoring practices. The candidate must be comfortable administering conscious sedation and managing PCA pumps. Patient demographic includes adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census of approximately 25 patients. Interdisciplinary support is readily available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Our team focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
