Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, delivering
comprehensive assessments and interventions to support the health
and well-being of critically ill infants. This contract position
offers an opportunity to utilize advanced neonatal nursing skills
in a dynamic healthcare environment located in Littleton, CO. Key
Responsibilities: Independently perform nursing functions and
delegated medical tasks adhering to state Board of Nursing
standards. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized
nursing care for neonatal patients. Conduct ongoing health status
evaluations through continuous data collection and analysis.
Deliver health teaching and counseling to families and caregivers.
Administer supportive and restorative therapy and treatment
directly or through collaboration and supervision. Refer patients
for further evaluation or treatment as appropriate. Monitor and
review therapy and treatment plans to ensure optimal patient
outcomes. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as per
hospital and regulatory requirements. Utilize healthcare resources
effectively to enhance patient care. Uphold the mission, vision,
and values of the healthcare organization and adhere to established
service behavior standards. Flexibility to float to other
departments within competencies as needed. May be required to be
on-call during regular shifts. Qualifications and Desired
Experience: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with
specialization in NICU nursing. Proven expertise in neonatal
nursing care and familiarity with critical care protocols. Strong
assessment, planning, and communication skills. Ability to work
independently while collaborating effectively within a
multidisciplinary team. Competence in accurate documentation and
