patients with neuro and trauma needs. The position is based in
Aurora, CO, at a well-equipped medical center with a 30-bed ICU
staffed by an experienced team. This contract opportunity combines
clinical skill with flexibility and teamwork in a supportive
setting. Key Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality nursing care
to critically ill patients with neuro and trauma conditions. -
Perform advanced procedures including rapid intubation, chest tube
management, and external ventricular drain care. - Monitor patients
using state-of-the-art Lenet beds and GE monitors within the
Meditech EMR system. - Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary
staff to manage patient acuity and adapt assignments as needed. -
Maintain adherence to unit policies while supporting a flexible and
responsive care environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license with ICU nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in neuro and trauma critical care candidates
without these will not be considered. - Neuro certification is
highly valued and will prioritize candidate review. - Ability to
work collaboratively in a fast-paced unit, accommodating shifts in
patient acuity and care demands. Schedule: - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
shifts (daytime coverage/backfill) Location Insight:Aurora,
