be considered. A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered
Nurse specializing in stepdown care, working primarily on a
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a well-established medical center.
This role offers a rewarding challenge caring for a large cardiac
patient population with diverse acute and chronic medical needs,
ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care.
Location: Littleton, CO This area offers a blend of suburban charm
and easy access to vibrant city amenities. Residents enjoy
beautiful mountain views, a variety of outdoor recreational
activities, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Responsibilities
and Duties: Provide comprehensive nursing care on the PCU with a
focus on cardiac patients. Float to various inpatient
medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units as needed. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
Utilize clinical skills such as telemetry monitoring and assist
with complex cardiac procedures. Adhere to unit policies and
guidelines in a family-oriented team environment. Maintain accurate
documentation using the Meditech electronic medical record system.
Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling, including night shifts from
7 PM to 7 AM. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN
license with at least 2 years hands-on telemetry experience. BLS
(Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support) certifications are required. Chemo certification is a plus
and may lead to scheduling opportunities on the oncology unit.
Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate
compassion. Willingness to float across units and adapt to a
dynamic patient care environment. Job Type: Contract This position
