Job Description Position pay range is $37.60 - $46.45 per hour
$4 differential. (pay range is based on relevant years of

resident-centered care plans! Continuously fine-tune these
blueprints with input from our awesome residents, their families,
and our stellar care planning team. - Channel your inner detective
to listen for resident, family, and physician concerns. Then, leap
into action with your superhero cape of corrective interventions! -
Sharpen your Spidey senses to recognize and identify signs and
symptoms. Use your initiative and proper judgment to coordinate
interventions like a pro! - Be the ultimate communication guru!
Connect with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, residents, and
family members to keep everyone in the loop about our residents'
status. - Guard resident privacy and confidentiality like a
fortress protector. No villains allowed! - Embrace your inner tech
wizard by ensuring documentation is done via electronic medical
record platforms with pinpoint accuracy. - Transform into a
medication maestro! Prepare, administer, and document medications
according to physician orders and selected resident service
packages. Keep the medicine cabinet stocked and bid farewell to
expired meds per protocol. - Be the town crier for resident
concerns, incidents, and progress. Spread the word to all relevant
parties! - Chronicle your heroic deeds by documenting assessment
findings, interventions, and follow-ups. - Don your coaching hat to
supervise, mentor, and (when necessary) discipline nursing support
staff. Be the go-to person for reporting staff concerns to the
Director of Nursing or designee. - Be ready to tackle any other
exciting quests that come your way in this nursing adventure!
Remember, as a Flex Team RN, you're the Swiss Army knife of our
nursing squad! You'll be filling in for a minimum of 2 shifts per
month, mostly 12-hour shifts. This PRN position lets you choose
your own adventure across multiple locations, dates, and shifts.

Qualifications Essential Duties - Responsible for initiating
resident-centered care plans. Continuously evaluates and updates
resident-centered care plans with input from the residents,
families, and the care planning team. - Listens to resident,
family, and/or physician concerns and initiates corrective action.
- Recognizes and identifies signs and symptoms and uses initiative
and proper judgment in coordinating interventions. - Communicates
with other nursing staff, physician, pharmacist, resident, family
member and others with need to know on resident’s status. - Ensures
protection of resident privacy and confidentiality. - Must ensure
documentation is done via electronic medical record platforms, and
is accurate. - Prepares, administers, and documents medications
according to physician orders and selected resident service
packages. Ensures that needed medications are available and expired
medications are destroyed per protocol. - Communicates any
concerns, incidents, and progress of residents to all relevant
parties. - Documents assessment findings, interventions, and
follow-up. - Supervises, coaches, and disciplines nursing support
staff and reports staff concerns to the Director of Nursing, or
designee. - Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications &
Experience - Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Colorado
that is active and in good standing. - 1-2 years experience in an
assisted living or skilled nursing setting preferred. - Experience
in caring for residents with dementia a plus. - Advanced relevant
education or certification required. Examples include: Eden
Associates or Alzheimer’s and dementia certifications, wound care
programs, management education preferred. - 1 year experience in a
supervisory capacity preferred. - 1 year experience using
electronic medical record platforms preferred. - Must be able to
read, write and speak the English language. - Must possess
excellent customer service and communication skills. - Must have
computer word processing, email management and database skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements - Light physical effort
required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up
to 10 pounds frequently. - Sits, stands, bends, and moves
intermittently during working hours. - Is subject to frequent
interruptions. - Interacts with residents, family members, visitors
