Job Description & Requirements Mammography Tech - (Mam - Mammo Tech) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2210.00 - $2298.00 Mammographer needed on Days for the Greater Denver area Required Qualifications Mammography Technologist, Mammography Experience: 2 years Certifications: BLS-AHA; M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CERT-Diploma/Degree-Associate Weekends: every other Sat References: 1 Reference in entire work history Mammography Technologist, Mammography Experience: 2 years Certifications: BLS-AHA; M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CERT-Diploma/Degree-Associate Weekends: every other Sat References: 1 Reference in entire work history • Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. • Mammography certification required • Must meet ARRT(R)(M) requirements for exam counts and CEUs. • 2 - 3 years of mammography experience is preferred. • Ability to accurately position the patient for imaging according to ACR standards. • Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce desired images. • Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images. • Must have at least one year of experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography. • Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry and records maintenance. • Maintain BLS certification. • Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams and patient interactions simultaneously. • Exhibit behavior which emphasizes quality, conscientiousness, and professionalism. • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 20 lbs throughout the day. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients and team members in a professional and caring manner.
