Day **Location:** 5020 E Arapahoe Rd Littleton, CO 80122 **The role you'll contribute:** Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a registered nurse. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. + Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals. + Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. + Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs. Reports patient status changes and needs to registered nurse accurately and in a timely manner. + Effectively uses time, personnel, equipment, and supplies to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care. + Participates in process change to improve practice. Assists in training other CNAs, volunteers, students, and other hospital personnel. Can perform as a preceptor toother Certified Nursing Assistants. **Qualifications** **The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:** **Required:** + High School Diploma OR GED (Required within one year of hire). + Certified Nursing Assistant State Registered. + CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds. + Current BLS through American Heart Association. **Preferred:** + Six months previous CNA experience. + Previous customer service experience. + Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred.
