Description
LifeHealth, LLC, a healthcare staffing organization, is seeking
experiencedHealthcare Recruiters to support its Human Capital
Department.
The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for proactively leading
aspects of strategic and tactical full-cycle recruiting for top
tier talent for vacant positions within the Company as well as
support of proposal efforts and pre-recruitment of new award.
Individual assists in developing and implementing strategic
recruitment and employment programs and initiatives that support
the needs of the business in developing a pool of top candidates,
ensuring the efficient, effective operation of the company's
Affirmative Action Program and attainment of EEO goals and
timetables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following:
- Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and testing applicants
for Healthcare, Headquarters Support, Proposals, and various
contract positions throughout the Company to determine the
suitability of the applicant for employment;
- Utilizes various channels of recruiting sources to fill
vacancies expeditiously;
- Strong negotiation skills required;
- Manage employment practice compliance in areas such as
recruitment and non-discriminatory hiring, EEO, and Affirmative
Action;
- Identify the best mix of resources to source top talent;
- Research, analyze, and recommend new ideas and strategies
related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range
growth of the organization, implementing any new processes and
improve standard processes for recruiting;
- Performs further background reference investigation, i.e.,
prior employment references, transcripts, prime source
verifications, etc. to gain adequate information on which to base a
selection decision. Take into consideration previous experience,
education, etc.;
- Act as liaison with area employment agencies, preparation and
liaison with advertising agencies, processing and checking
advertising agency billings, liaison with temporary agencies, and
recording status of authorized positions within the corporations,
employment verifications, and employee referral program;
- Be a change management agent by constantly understanding
customer needs and adapting practices to fit the changing business
or industry climate;
- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives
including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques,
leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top
performers;
- Research, develop, write, and update policies, procedures, and
methods for recruiting;
- Assists in the development of LifeHealth's employment brand and
be a positive brand ambassador by providing an excellent candidate
experience throughout the recruiting process;
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/Education and or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years' experience in health care recruiting
required, government contracting experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a sales, marketing or
recruiting capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in a healthcare staffing agency or
health care environment is a plus.
- Must be able to source and screen passive talent in highly
competitive talent markets
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and talent
management initiatives within a matrix environment.
- Proven ability to source for difficult-to-fill roles utilizing
various networks and online tools.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven
environment
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration and adapting
national strategies at a local/regional level
- Experience maintaining strict confidentiality of data and
information
- Experience in understanding and translating the priorities of
the business and integrating the recruitment value proposition and
strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends and recommend
solutions to improve employee engagement, performance, and
retention
- Self-starter with creative mind and a track record of putting
ideas into practice and assessing results
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of regulations,
industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable
laws regarding employee selection compliance laws and best
practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously,
prioritize business critical roles and adjust work schedule to
deliver within deadlines, and strong follow-up, problem resolution
and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
Explorer, with familiarity of sourcing, tracking, and managing
candidates in an Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Technical acumen with ability to learn quickly and teach
others.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills; with a
proven ability to meet deadlines and provide timely response.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, to
include the ability to present and train groups.
- Professional presentation and interaction, with the ability to
maintain confidentiality and information security in a highly
sensitive environment.
- Ability to quickly establish and gain trust, gain rapport and
work effectively in a highly productive team environment. This will
require the ability to laugh
