LPN Nurse: Full-Time & PRN Opportunity! Valley Hope's New Direction's for families is in search of a very special LPN Nurse, to work out of our Littleton, CO facility.This treatment center is dedicated to providing life-changing drug and alcohol addiction treatment for women with children (ages 0-12) and pregnant women. New Direction's for Families provides a safe place for mothers to receive treatment for substance use disorder without having to be separated from their children.The LPN position would be Full-Time, Sunday through Thursday, 3PM-11PM; OR PRN 3-12HR. Shifts a month minimum. Per CMS Interim Rule, all Valley Hope employees must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or receive an approved medical/religious exemption. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse to practice in the state of employment.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.One (1) year of clinical nursing care work experience is preferredWork experience in substance abuse treatment facility is preferred COMPENSTATION: Starting salary for LPN ranges from $27-$30/hr. based on experience and education Shift Differentials:Night: $5.00Weekend Night: $5.50Weekend Day: $1.00BENEFITS:Affordable health, dental, and vision insuranceTuition Assistance - Up to $10K annually; $45K maximum benefitStudent Loan RepaymentPublic Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer8 Paid Holidays (Including 1 Personal Holiday)PTO - Up to 27 Days per year based on years of servicePaid Parental Leave 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matchHealth Saving and Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramAnd much more!JOB SUMMARYProvides nursing care support of prescribed treatments and medication interventions as established for each patient.Implements nursing care in accordance with Valley Hope's medical philosophies, policies, and procedures as well as any other regulating bodies to ensure quality patient care.Administers drugs, medications, treatments, and tests as allowed by law.Assists with detox admissions and provides patient care support during patient detoxification process including pre-screening of patients, obtaining physical assessment data and health history, administering detox treatment plans, and monitoring of patient.Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner.Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients' treatment and status.Follows established policies and procedures for all medical emergencies (i.e., convulsions, suicides, Delirium Tremens, etc.).Maintains a safe and sanitary environment applying infection control techniques and universal precautions.Oversees non-licensed nursing staff as instructed by and under the direction of the facility Nursing Director.Maintains current state license/certification.
