Position Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Dialysis 13 Week Travel AssignmentFull Time, DaysRN Traveler Contract - 13 weeks - extension option75 mile radius ruleDescription:RN Traveler - Acute Dialysis - University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, COInpatient acute dialysis unit with normal business hours M-Sa 7a-7p with call requirements of 10-12 call shifts in an 8 week schedule. Serving 6 ICU's and one step down unit as well as a 13 bay dialysis unit. Patient ratios up to 1:3Perform dialysis and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange for inpatients and some outpatients. Our UCHealth RN Travelers also reap the rewards and benefits of travel nursing.Job Duties:Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires.This position's pay range starts at: $40.00/hour + travel stipend/package.
