Job Description:

VCA Highlands Ranch is looking to hire part time or full-time technician assistants to join our busy ICU and ER team. Primary responsibilities include, basic animal care for medical boarding patients, walking, feeding, oral medication administration, medical note recording, any other needs they may have. Secondary responsibilities include: Restraint of primarily canine and feline patients, for blood draws, IV catheter placement, assisting with radiographs, laboratory procedures, anticipating ER patient presentation, delivery of flow by oxygen, assisting in CPR and other medical emergencies. Technician assistants are a vital role of our ER team. Experience within the profession or veterinary students are desired. However, applicants with a strong desire to learn and are hardworking may be considered VCA Highlands Ranch Specialty and Emergency is a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital. We have 4 specialties and are looking to expand. Our current specialties include internal medicine, surgery, dentistry and oncology.
