Position Summary: RN Traveler Med Surg Highlands Ranch Hospital 13 Week Travel Assignment Full Time, Rotating Shifts Summary: RN Traveler Medical Surgical Highlands Ranch Hospital, Highlands Ranch, CO 24 bed med surg unit with 6 bed EMU. Plan for overstaffing med surg by 2 RNs each shift to float to overflow areas in the hospital (ICU, PACU, MBU) Description: Requirements America Heart Association BLS and CO RN License and/or Compact License. Job Duties: Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates the learning needs of the patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
