Description
*This position is open until filled. We are looking for a dynamic
Product Manager to join our team and take the lead of our software
development projects. In this role, you'll play a key part in
shaping the future of our products, from ideation through to
delivery, ensuring they meet market demands and exceed customer
expectations. Your work will help ensure our products meet the
needs of the market and, most importantly, exceed our customers'
expectations.

This software solution has been so successful that we turned it
into a SaaS offering that is now used and paid for by counties
across the state.
As our Product Manager, you'll work closely with teams from
different areas, including engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), and
both internal and external customers, to develop products that
solve real-world problems. You'll be responsible for defining the
product's direction, prioritizing what features to develop, and
ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You must
have strong relationship management skills and work well with
others. Your ability to see the big picture will be key to
delivering software that truly makes a difference and helps our
organization grow. The Product Manager is responsible for the
products to which they have been assigned for citizen facing
digital services. The job is responsible for overseeing the entire
life cycle of a product, from defining the scope, building the
technology, and delivering a product that meets users' needs.
Note:
The anticipated hiring range for this position is of $125,000.00 -
$145,000.00 per year.
Duties
* Develops, manages and maintains strategic short-term and
long-term roadmaps for technology products for business partners,
ensuring alignment to the Information Technology department and the
County's strategic priorities specific to digitalization and
citizen facing technology.
* Collaborates with business partners to ensure the best usage of
technology and identify strategic business function opportunities
for both short and long term, and track adoption across relevant
departments.
* Leads information gathering conversations with end users to
obtain needs and requirements, determines scope and prioritization
of activities based on business and customer impact, and creates
product strategy documents that describes business cases, use
cases, technical requirements, and ROI, and translates product
strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
* Researches and identifies potential products, develops product
requirements, determines specifications, pricing and time
integrated plans for product introduction.
* Collaborates with vendors and/or development staff to determine
the most effective way to achieve product requirements.
* Collaborates with IT leadership to create and implement product
business strategies that leverage and integrate IT strategy of
architecture, infrastructure, and application development of
existing and new technology to achieve business objectives.
* Manage customer expectations with respect to IT Services,
identify gaps between business needs and IT services, contribute to
finding innovative solutions to fill those gaps, and influence
stakeholders buy-in to change and/or adoption as necessary.
* Promotes creativity and drives innovation by staying on top of
industry and technology trends and serves as a spokesperson to
build product awareness and understanding.

* Advanced skills in writing/creating business requirements,
problem statements, gap analyses, statements of work, RFP creation,
data and process modeling, design thinking, customer interviews,
building prototypes/mockups, A/B Testing, vendor management and
other necessary artifacts and skills.

modeling, Business process Improvement, Facilitation, Requirements
Management, RFP Creation, Vendor Management, Business Relationship

and system design including Internet, Intranet, Extranet and
application architectures.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelors' Degree in IT related field
* 8+ years of functional experience in information technology and
the software industry, serving in roles such as Business Analyst,
Product Owners, Product Manager or Business Relationship. * 5+
years experience facilitating the development and implementation of
technical business initiatives and leading projects relating to
management objectives and/or business analysis.
* Any equivalent combination of education and work experience that
satisfy the requirements of the job will be considered.

generally confined to a standard office environment. PHYSICAL
