Do you want to be a part of an organization dedicated to fulfilling the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of its membership and employee base?If you enthusiastically answered "Yes!" to the questions above, this might be the Vice President of Marketing position for you!Here's the short list of typical competencies (not exhaustive, of course):Designs, implements, and monitors efficient marketing technologies including marketing automation.Makes recommendations on pricing, placement, and products to increase market share in line with business objectives.Leverages data to propose, develop, implement, and report on key marketing actions.Manages and ensures consistency of the brand in all communications and advertising, including the digital journey.Leads development, evaluations, and reporting on traditional and digital marketing efforts, ensuring consistent and optimized experience across the member journey as well as return on investment.Collaborates closely with a variety of agencies, media partners and cross-functional teams in driving business objectives.Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops marketing and business development staff in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Expects and enables team members to support the work of peers.Oversees and manages department resources and budget; optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and sufficiency of department spend/investments. Prepare and communicate regular reporting with key stakeholders.Establishes and ensures compliance with applicable regulations, departmental operational processes and policies that are compliant, and efficient, including data security.Last, but not least, here are the typical qualifications for this position:Requires at least 5 years of similar/related experience including 5 years in management.Bachelor's degree in industry-related field required; MBA or master's degree preferred.Other Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills, including demonstrating high emotional intelligence.Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.Aligns team performance with business strategies and objectives.Ability to build a strong team culture of trust with a member-focus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.This position typically pays $132,000-$135,000 depending on experience.
