Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Chief Test Engineer to lead enterprise?level
test and verification for the FLITE program at Buckley Space Force
Base . This is a high?impact technical leadership role at the heart
of the Missile Warning mission—ideal for a senior engineer who
wants to shape how critical national?level systems are validated,
integrated, and trusted. In this role, you will serve as the
authoritative voice for test strategy and verification across the
Missile Warning enterprise. You’ll guide the planning, execution,
and continuous improvement of test activities that ensure
mission?critical systems perform reliably under the most demanding
conditions. Your leadership will directly influence enterprise
readiness, system resilience, and the evolution of verification
methodologies across the FORGE environment. This is an opportunity
to lead a high?performing team, advise senior stakeholders, and
drive enterprise?wide alignment on test strategy for one of the
nation’s most important space?based missions. What You’ll Be Doing
Serve as the Chief Test Engineer for Missile Warning Integration
and Test, providing authoritative direction across all verification
activities. Lead and mentor the Missile Warning Integration and
Test team , ensuring technical rigor, disciplined execution, and
mission alignment. Deliver senior?level, independent technical
consultation on verification strategies, methodologies, and
enterprise?level test approaches. Advise government and industry
stakeholders on test architecture, process improvements, and
risk?reduction strategies that enhance mission effectiveness. Drive
enterprise coordination to ensure test and verification activities
are aligned across systems, partners, and mission threads. Shape
the future of Missile Warning verification , influencing how the
enterprise validates performance, interoperability, and readiness.
Telecommuting 50%: Candidates must live within commuting distance
of Buckley SFB, CO. What You’ll Need Active TS/SCI security
clearance Master’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR a
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience. Extensive experience
supporting Missile Warning systems , integration, and verification
Demonstrated ability to provide senior technical leadership and
strategic advisory support in complex mission environments If

Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 The Leidos pay range for this job
