Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Technician Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Technician, where you will be instrumental in operating hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies. Your work will involve interpreting prints, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure precise assembly. Your expertise in soldering, assembly, and fixture design will be crucial to our success. Responsibilities Operate hand and power tools to complete mechanical assemblies as specified by prints, schematics, and BOMs. Perform soldering tasks to ensure secure and effective connections. Design and test fixtures to support mechanical assembly processes. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure assembly quality and efficiency. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a regulated environment. Work Environment You will work within a manufacturing environment, contributing to the development of cutting-edge National Defense High Energy Laser (HEL) technologies. The HEL Weapon systems are designed to be rugged and compact, capable of thriving in the most challenging conditions. Your role as a technician will be vital in assembling parts that are key to the success of these systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Longmont, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
