team.KPMG is currently seeking a Disaster Recovery, Technical
Engineering to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This
is a hybrid work opportunity.Responsibilities:
- Drive efficiencies and automation that help support the
resilience of the firm's most critical applications; set team goals
and service level agreement (SLA's), offer and receive feedback,
while partnering with near-shore and offshore information
technology-disaster recovery (IT-DR) teams.
- Help set the IT-DR Lifecycle roadmap and identify unaddressed
areas for solutioning; assign the right people to the right
projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team
members have skills and tools to perform their jobs, acting as
point of escalation to leadership.
- Provide guidance between execution and tactical planning and
participation in strategic planning; contribute to tactical plans
and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance for the
IT-DR Area.
- Advocate for alignment with relevant strategies, ensuring
adherence to these strategies and related commitments, while
partnering with ERO (Enterprise Resilience Organization) and risk
management.
- Utilize advanced technical expertise and resources to
effectively guide IT disaster recovery, and business application
team members towards optimal solutions.Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery
and/or leading IT Infrastructure or Application Teams.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is
preferred; IT-DR related Certifications is preferred.
- Expert knowledge understanding IT Infrastructure, Networking,
DNS, Load Balancing, Servers, High Availability.
- Experience working in an enterprise setting as part of an IT-DR
team or Application team that performed IT-DR planning and Testing
such as Application Fail-Over, and run out of DR site.
- Demonstrated capable leadership with effective communications
skills, and a proven track record of successful collaboration with
application teams, as well as nearshore and offshore teams.
- Experience with and knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office
Suite and Agile.
