Job Duties and Responsibilities

Boost Mobile is seeking a Manager of Network Engineering to oversee a team of engineers supporting our nationwide network deployment and engineering. This role is a key part of our business, with a unique opportunity to implement and optimize the latest networking solutions.

The successful candidate will drive engineering and implementation of new cell site connectivity architectures and investigation, correction, and testing of escalated cell site network connectivity issues. This work is driven through new engineering project requests, technology changes, and normal ticketing. He or she will collaborate cross-functionally with the Network Engineering team, Network Security, Network Automation, Traffic/Transport Engineering, Performance Management teams, and Network Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a proficient team of network engineers
• Monitor support and escalation requests and prioritize across the team
• Document and maintain processes and procedures required for normal day-today operations
  • Provide technical leadership for complex project work
    Skills, Experience and Requirements
    
    Education and Experience:
    
    • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering preferred, or five plus years of professional experience in large enterprise or service provider space
    • 5+ years of professional networking experience in large enterprise or carrier space
    • 2+ years of leadership / people manager experience in network engineering
      
      Skills and Qualifications:
      
      • Professional networking certifications a plus - CCNA/CCNP/CCIE/JNCIE or equivalent
      • Public cloud certifications a plus - advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent
        Salary Ranges
        
        Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $145,000.00/Year

        The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
