Pay Range
$105,700.00-$145,300.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to
make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant
experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition,
this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The purpose of the Thermoplastic Extrusion Engineer's role will be
to provide technical leadership to the assets, processes, and new
product developments for thermoplastics in the Roofing Systems
division. In this role the ideal candidate will collaborate and
work with the process engineering teams at all applicable
thermoplastic manufacturing sites. Data analysis, trials, and
research and developments for thermoplastic extrusion and molding
will be a key responsibility. Root-cause-corrective-action analysis
will also be a key role in support of thermoplastic production
plants. Strong analysis and forward progress in process efficiency,
across all applicable extrusion processes in the division will be
expected. This position will primarily be responsible to drive the
overall optimization of asset performance and equipment utilization
with a focus on all aspects of the operational cost and
performance. This position will also play a key role in research
and development analysis of new extrusion formulations and process
needs to support new projects and opportunities. The Thermoplastic
Extrusion Engineer will collaborate with internal JM experts or
external resources as required to develop the core technologies
beyond existing level. This role takes an active part in
development of AOP, CAPEX planning and strategic business
projects.
