Description: Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a mid-level
civil engineer to join our Civil Engineering Group in our Lakewood,
Colorado office. This mid-level engineer will work primarily on
water and wastewater projects, including treatment projects. A
typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing
development, site visits, etc. Projects are typically in the Rocky
Mountain Region but can sometimes take us nationally, offering the
opportunity to travel. This position allows for interactions with
owners, architects, contractors, etc. early in your career along
with opportunities for marketing activities. We operate in a
fast-paced environment and strive to support a culture that is

unique challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as an
engineer. The office is located on the west side of Denver allowing
for quick access to both the city and the mountains. Our staff
typically spends less time in traffic and more time with family and

Responsibilities Include: The following duties are illustrative
only and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
- Manage a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians to
deliver a high-quality project for small to medium sized projects
from start of design through construction, meeting deadlines and
design budgets.
- Produce high-quality project documentation using computer
design and graphics software programs.
- Engage with clients as primary point of contact and collaborate
with other Martin/Martin staff to provide exceptional engineering
solutions.
- Actively participate in personal professional development
through researching code requirements, being inquisitive through
asking questions, completing reference research, and attending
technical training seminars.
- Progressively build clientele through project management
initiative. relationships with clients, advocate with current
clients for future work Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Registered PE license in the State of Colorado or ability to
obtain one within 3 months
- Five years minimum of progressive civil engineering/structural
design experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D to produce civil construction
documents.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure
disciplines
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and permitting requirements
- Completed a minimum of six months as a Professional Engineer
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering
- Water and/or wastewater treatment experience
- Has successfully managed multiple projects and followed them
through from start of design to completion of construction.
- Ability to meet quality and financial goals.
- Shows strong commitment to continued personal growth and
development in all aspects of their work.
- Participating member of professional and/or technical
society.
- Demonstrates skill and a positive attitude in completing
difficult assignments.
- Demonstrates a willingness to take on additional work and
responsibility.
- 12 months experience as a Professional Engineer.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Committed to client services and a team-based approach.
- Attention to detail, delivering quality work products, and
excellent client services.
- Ability to work with a wide variety of clients, regulators, and
authorities. COVID-19 full vaccination (as defined by the CDC) is
