active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks a
skilled Physical Therapist to provide leave coverage in a dynamic
K-12 school environment. This contract position involves full-time
hours supporting students across six different sites within a
school district, delivering specialized care to a diverse student
population ranging from PreK through high school. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide physical therapy services to
approximately 55 students with physical and multiple disabilities
ranging from mild to severe. - Support students across multiple
school locations in an itinerant role, ensuring consistent
therapeutic interventions. - Collaborate with educational teams to
develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs). - Utilize pediatric mobility equipment effectively to
enhance student participation and mobility. - Manage documentation
and treatment plans accurately, including standards specific to
school-based therapy. - Serve as a resource for the physical
therapy assistant team at the three largest schools. Qualifications
and Experience: - Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
certification is required. - Previous experience in Colorado
schools with a solid understanding of school-based physical therapy
regulations and policies. - Proficiency in IEP writing and
comprehensive knowledge of pediatric mobility equipment. - Ability
to work independently across multiple sites and manage a caseload
effectively. Location: - This position is based in Aurora,
Colorado, with service across multiple sites within the district.

Candidates with Colorado licensure and school-based experience are
