OnPoint Medical Group is searching for an outstanding Billing
and A/R Specialist join our team! Come join a great group of

nurses, specialists, labs and medical records all interlinked and
coordinated, patient care has never been in better hands.Billing
and A/R specialist requirements include full revenue cycle duties
including submitting a clean claim and/or assisting with said
submission, verify contractual payment is received and/or appealing
a denial, answering patient phone calls and reviewing patient
statements, working A/R.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe

time.1.Accounts Receivable Collections & ManagementWorking directly
with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get
claims processed and paidReviewing and appealing unpaid and denied
claimsRunning A/R reports.Working Unpostables, denials, and claims
worklists per Athenahealth Best Practices.Answering phone calls
with patients' billing questions2.ProductivityClearing a minimum of
20 claims per day out of assigned claims worklistKeeping A/R less
than 180 daysAnswer patient phones calls as per assigned position
on the phone tree, minimizing voicemails3.PoliciesWork within
guidance of Billing Compliance PlanWork within Billing
Guidelines4.Maintain and follow strict privacy, confidentiality,
and safety protocols. Comply with all government regulations around
the following:HIPAAOSHAPCI DSS5.Other Administrative DutiesMaintain
a clean and organized work environmentDeliver faxes to billing
department staff member when appropriateQUALIFICATIONSTo perform

School EquivalencyStrong computer skills required5 years healthcare
experience2+ years billing experiencePreferred
Education/ExperienceSome college - medical, business, accounting
focusBilingualEMR experience preferred - Athenahealth practice
management systemCertified biller, coder, and/or 5 years experience
billing, coding, or high level of insurance knowledgeCUSTOMER
SERVICE EXCELLENCEProvide customer service in accordance to clinic
missionDemonstrate ability to be courteous and respectful when
interacting with patients and family membersMaintain patient
confidentiality in accordance to policy and procedure and HIPAA
